Minimize soil erosion

The State of Virginia requires a state-certified Land Disturber to be involved with projects requiring erosion control. Whitlow Tree and Landscaping has two (2) Virginia-certified Land Disturbers on its staff. We sign our name on the permit and take responsibility for the erosion control aspect of a job. We are experienced in many erosion control techniques such as:

• Silt fences
• Seed and straw (after grading)
• Jute mess (straw fabric/netting used in ditches for soil stabilization)
• Hydroseeding
• Straw bales for drain pipes and culverts
